Douai World Tournament 2009 – teams announced

The Douai World Tournament has announced 7 of its 8 participating teams. This year’s edition will be played with U19 National Teams that are in their preparation phase for the U19 World Championship that will be played in July in New Zealand. I take a quick look at the teams and who are the possible players to arrive in Northern France from 10th to the 14th June 2009.

NBBL All-Star game review

This weekend has been played the NBBL All-Star game in Mannheim. It is always difficult in such a context to scout players, especially if the game has no real impact and the clock is not stopped during the first 3 quarters. The result of this was a very poor first half. At least, during the Q3 and Q4, the 4743 fans could see some more interesting moments. So let’s take a look at the main guys that were on the court.

Hospitalet 2009: Mirotic goes for an incredible game

These days, the Junior Tournament in Hospitalet saw two more teams qualify for the Nike International Junior Tournament in Berlin. In fact, Lietuvos Rytas and Unicaja Malaga advanced to the next round. However, the most incredible news is the game of Nikola Mirotic in a consolation game this Tuesday against FMP Belgrade.
