The Montenegrin-Spanish Nikola Mirotic is getting more and more minutes with Real Madrid at the moment. After scoring 3pts in 5 minutes of Euroleague action against Unicaja last week, the 2m08 tall forward, born in 1991 played 19 minutes in the ACB game against the same this weekend. Urspring travels to the United States again

The German Basketball Academy from Urspring, that produced already several Division 1 players (Lucca Staiger, Christian Standhardinger, Justin Raffington,…) will participate at two prestigious tournaments in the USA during the Christmas Break. They will play the City of Palms Classic Signature Series where they will face Westchester County Day on the 20th December. After this tournament, the team of coach Ralph Junge will travel to Tennessee where they will participate to the Arby’s Classic in Bristol. We take a quick look at the roster from an NCAA point-of-view.

Nihad Dedovic–the underestimated scorer

Nihad Dedovic plays already his 2nd season on the highest level after having spent several seasons in lower Spanish divisons before coming to Roma to compete for the first time in the Euroleague. The 1m96 tall Bosnian is growing step by step and looks like a veteran despite being only 20 years old at the moment. After being present in the Adidas Eurocamp in 2010, Dedovic is certainly on the radar of the NBA as he offers a really interesting scorer skill-set combined with good height for the SG position.

German U20 National Team Tryouts

The German U20 National Team head coach Frank Menz, who successfully practiced with the U17 team last summer, has announced a list of 32 players that have been invited for a Try-out camp from 20th to 23rd December in Heidelberg in order to create the group of players for the U20 European Championship this summer.
