German Basketball is expecting a lot from two of its most talented generations: the players born in 1989 (Elias Harris, Tibor Pleiss, Robin Benzing) and in 1992 (Philipp Neumann, Patrick Heckmann). But in between these two generations, there is a group of players born in 1990 that is ready for the next step. Playing either small roles on Bundesliga or major roles on ProA level, I wanted to make an update on 3 players that will probably become major Beko-BBL contributors in the next years.
International AAU Team looks for players

This summer, the US website and Scouting Service ScoutsFocus will put together a AAU Team featuring mainly European Players. ScoutsFocus is a national scouting service dedicated based in North Carolina with the aim of finding overlooked and underexposed players as well as highlighting the top ranked players in the country.

After having lead the Swedish U18 National Team to Division A in 2009, the guard/forward had a major role on the U20 team this summer that won the Silver Medal and the promotion to A Division.
NBBL All-Star Game 2011

Last Saturday, the German NBBL U19 League had its fourth ever All-Star Game featuring the top players for the 33 NBBL participating teams. Unfortunately, several prospects had to sit out because of injuries (Daniel Theis, Bogdan Radosavljevic, Ole Wendt, Thomas Reuter) so that the level of the game this year could not reach the same heights than during the 2010 edition.
