With the NCAA Tournament coming closer and the recruiting for most of the College teams already done, Wake Forest announced the signing of the Norwegian sharp shooter Torgrim Sommerfeldt.
The 2m00 tall Norwegian guard just comes back from a knee surgery this season and considered this phase as a learning process to get tougher mentally. With him joining now one of the most impressive teams in the ACC, he will need to be extremely tough in order to crack the rotation in his shooting role.
Sommerfeldt was quite unknown in Europe until his name came up when he got selected for the Nike Hoop Summit in 2008 and where he showed a very nice performance which put him in the books of a lot of College coaches. With Dino Gaudio and Pat Kelsey bringing him to Winston-Salem, Sommerfeldt can show now what his level is and what his basketball future may look like. I wish him all the best.
