A few minutes before watching the top Euroleague clash between Partizan and Panathinaikos, I come up with some interesting notes
- Maurice Stuckey is injured and won’t play the Albert Schweitzer Tournament
- No Matias Nocedal for Argentina either
- Australia beat Germany heavily in the first of the AST preparation games. While the Germans could stand till halftime, the second 20 minutes were a disaster at a combined score of 24-58. So can Australia be considered as a favorite or is Germany simply that weak? Or was it just a bad day for Kay Blümel’s team and Australia went mad in 2nd half. We will see…
- Vlad Moldoveanu gave me also a little update on their upcoming NCAA tournament: We’ve been on the road since Monday. We are gging to play Notre Dame tomorrow night in Denver, Colorado. We got a 12th seed and we will play a 5th seed. Notre Dame comes from the Big East, they are a really good team, but I think we have a really good chance to win this game and advance to the next round. They have the Big East player of the year, and one of the best shooters in the country, and they are also the top assist team in the country, but i think as long as we play defense and stop people we are a team that is really hard to beat.
- Enzo Tsonga will probably join Le Mans’ team for the Cholet tournament that will be played this weekend.
