The Rho tournament for U17 teams has been played this weekend in Northern Italy and saw the Canadian Elite Hoop Factory winning the title. Without having been there, I just give you the main information about who were the players of the tournament.

Elite Hoop Factory won the tournament by beating Sabonis Basketball School in the Final. The third place went to NIJT participant Olimpija Ljubljana that overcame the German Urspring Academy in the game for the third place.

Top scorer of the tournament was Kevin Bright from Urspring. The 1992 born forward will also play with ALBA Berlin during the Nike International Junior Tournament and we will come back to him in detail afterwards. Here is the All-Tournament team from Rho though.

  • Rolandas Jakstas – SF – 2.04 – Sabonis Basketball School
  • Anthony Bennet – SF – 1.97 Elite Hoop Factory Toronto

The 2nd all tournament team was the following

  • Djorde Micic – SF – 1.97 – Olimpija Ljubljana

Some of these players will play during the NIJT that will start this Thursday in Berlin. Europeanprospects.com will be present from tomorrow on in Berlin, so don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss about the different players. See you in Berlin…
