U18 European Championship 2011: Wroclaw believes

The Polish city of Wroclaw will host the U18 European Championship of Division A this summer. From the 21st to 31st July, the sixteen best U18 National Teams will compete to win the Gold Medal with the host and Serbia looking like the favorites. Yesterday, the organization committee had a press conference to give the first details about the event.

Nenad Miljenovic: “Europe is my 1st option”

Nenad Miljenovic, the top Serbian guard prospect from the 1993 generation announced a few days ago that he will not sign his first professional contract with FMP Belgrade, the team where he played during the last years. Serbian Media outlets announced that he is close to move to the United States and that USC, UCLA and Hawaii are currently his first choices. We spoke with Miljenovic about these different topics and here is what he has to say.

Q&A with Mateusz Ponitka (Nike Hoop Summit)

Mateusz Ponitka was one of the main players for the Polish U17 National Team that won the Silver Medal at the World Championship 2010 in Hamburg. The scoring wing has been elected to participate at the Nike Hoop Summit in Portland and we got in touch with him to go through a small Q&A.
Is Robin Benzing still an NBA prospect?

Robin Benzing was an NBA Draft Early Entry Candidate last year and was projected throughout the process in the second round. After he opted out before the deadline, he has played with the German National Team a relatively poor World Championship finishing at a 17th place and averaging less than 5 points per game. Since then, he has not appeared anymore in the Draftexpress Mock Draft and nbadraft.net featured him some times in the late second round.
