NIJT 2009: Wildcards go to ALBA and Union Olimpija

We got the news today that the two wildcards for the Nike International Junior Tournament go to the local ALBA Berlin and Union Olimpija Ljubljana. So the Euroleague did not go that much into the sportive results but preferred to take the local team from Berlin and a team that features one of the most promising players in Europe with Mirza Sarajlija.

The games will be played in the Velodrom Arena from Thursday 30th April to Saturday 2nd May while the Final will be played at the O2 World on Sunday 3rd May.

Group A will feature: Union Olimpija, Lietuvos Rytas, Kalise Gran Canaria and Hemofarm Stada Vrsac

Group B will feature: Unicaja, FMP, Montepaschi Siena and ALBA Berlin

    Mirza Sarajlija is very good , but i prefer to see Nikola Mirotic
