The Swedish forward has made a steady progress over the last years and has developed into a good player in the Italian League. With an interesting physical profile, that has still some room to develop further, Gaddefors can become a player with rotation ability in the NBA. To reach this goal, the Swede needs to become more regular from behind the three-point line, especially from NBA distance. His shooting form looks good but the execution could be a bit faster. Gaddefors likes on the other hand go to the rim and he has the necessary jumping ability to score against bigger guys, also on the dunk. His excellent field goal percentage from 2pt territory can be explained by the fact that he rarely goes for the mid-range jump shot and that he is very effective in transition.
NBA Draft 2014 Outlook
Workouts: Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies
The chances to get drafted are really slim for Viktor Gaddefors. His athletic potential is good for the European level but he might lack the necessary explosiveness for the NBA. Additionally, he needs to become more consistent from the NBA 3pt line in order to have a chance to play on that level.
