Nicolas de Virieu is a French Documentary movie maker that has produced a lot of highly interesting movies about Basketball. Among them, you can find different portraits or coverage of the famous Slam Nation dunkers in their worldwide tours. For fans of young European basketball players, two films are highly recommended.
The first movie covers the NBA Draft preparation in 2008 of the two French players Nicolas Batum and Alexis Ajinca. You can see how they fly around the States to do their different workouts, how they get interviewed and how the “hype” is created by their agency in order to get them drafted by the “right” franchise.
