- South Africa will not be playing in the tournament this year. The team will be replaced by the Netherlands U18 squad.
- Some pre-tournament test dates have also been revealed: 18th March: Germany vs. Australia; 19th March: Germany vs. New Zealand and USA vs. Crailsheim; 20th March: Germany vs. USA and Australia vs. TSG Ehingen and New Zealand vs. Langen.
