The first tournament of the 2009/2010 edition of the NIJT Qualification phase has been played once again in Rome. This year, Zalgiris Kaunas totally dominated this first stage of the competition as they won every game by at least 15 points. Stella Azzurra Città di Roma Tournament (Day 2)

The tournament organized by Stella Azzurra Roma features 8 teams that compete for one spot at NIJT to be played in May in Paris. A quick update on Kevin Seraphin

After a nice performance during the 2009 edition of the Nike Hoop Summit, a lot of observers had high hopes on the French Kevin Seraphin this season. With a newly signed three-year deal for Cholet, the 1989 born and 2m05 tall inside player had however a rough start into the season as he saw several DNPs or limited minutes. But the recent roster changes gave him several opportunities to show his talent and we go over him and his potential today.

Pietro Aradori 4 years later

Back in 2006, at the beginning of this website, Pietro Aradori was one of the first players that I covered as he was a major factor for the Italian team at the Albert-Schweitzer Tournament. I scouted him later on again in 2007 at the U20 European Championship in Gorizia and now, at the edge of 2010, Aradori is living up to the high expectations I had on him back then.

2009 U16 European Championship B Division Report

With a few months of delay, here we go for a report on some of the most interesting players of the 2009 FIBA Europe U16 European Championship of Division B. As I could by far not see all players (I was limited to several games on tape), this report is far from being complete. The same that counted already for the Division A report is also true here, the scouting reports are smaller than usual as we speak about 15 or 16 year old kids that are far away from their final development in terms of basketball.
