David Jelinek does the Scoring Machine

David Jelinek, the Czech Shooting Guard is already in his fifth season with the Spanish team Joventut Badalona. After having arrived in 2007 to play with the Junior Team, the Brno native spent several seasons with the Joventut farm team at Prat where he gained experience on the professional level. In 2010, he started his first full season with the ACB team and finished with 7.0ppg at 40.4% from the field and 45.7% from behind the arc. This season, he has increased his scoring and his role in the rotation but his shooting percentages have gone down below 40%. We checked his game recently in an overtime win against Unicaja Malaga where the Czech had his best game of the season.

Maik Zirbes confirms, Philipp Neumann emerges

This week, the game between TBB Trier and Brose Baskets Bamberg was a good opportunity to see some of the most promising Centers of German Basketball face-to-face. The already drafted Tibor Pleiß together with the top prospect Philipp Neumann had to play against one of the best big men of the Bundesliga season so far: Maik Zirbes.

Tornike Shengelia: a future high-level Forward

Tornike “Toko” Shengelia is one of the few but talented Georgian players currently active in the Euroleague. After having spent several years in Spain, Shengelia is now in his second season playing in Belgium. With Spirou Charleroi, he is a rookie in the Euroleague competition and one of the candidates for the Rising Star Trophy winner this season.
