After having skipped the first day of the Nike International Junior Tournament in London, I made it to the capital of the United Kingdom for the second day. After the battle with the Euroleague that ended without a result, I was however looking forward to see some of the best young players in Europe.

Open Letter to Jordi Bertomeu about Euroleague Final 4 Credential Policy
May 7th, 2013 · No Comments
After having been denied in 2010, 2011 and 2013, I have decided in cooperation with other websites to write an Open Letter to Mr. Jordi Bertomeu to make him aware of the situation. As there has been no answer so far from the Euroleague, we have decided to put this letter online to explain to our readers why we can not cover the Euroleague Final 4 as expected.
Philipp Neumann continues to improve
April 20th, 2013 · No Comments
Philipp Neumann has been considered a high-level talent for a long time already. But this season is the one where he really emerges on the top level in Germany and shows what potential he has. The 2m09 big guy, who was moving between PF and C in the youth categories playing often facing the basket has now totally settled as a low-post presence for the German champion Brose Baskets Bamberg.
A Mind Map Scouting Report on Alex Abrines
April 16th, 2013 · 1 Comment
In a way to explore new things, I tried to put together a scouting report on Alex Abrines in a different way. Using the concept of Mind Mapping, this is a first idea/draft on what can be possible. The content of the Scouting report is also far from being complete as it has been put together for a first try. I have some thoughts how to improve it but I want to check first if this concept of a Scouting reports is interesting for the readers. Every comment is welcome so do not hesitate to put your ideas in the comments or just send them over to me.

Mam Jaiteh shining in Boulogne, Loum too
March 29th, 2013 · No Comments
Mouhammadou “Mam” Jaiteh is currently one of the hottest names in the European prospects scene. The French big guy made the not so usual choice to sign with a ProB team coming out of INSEP while the most interesting prospects generally decide themselves in favor of a ProA team after their years with the French academy. The results so far look great for Jaiteh as he is averaging a stunning 16.7ppg (65.2% FGs), 9.8rpg and 0.9bpg in his first professional season. The question though is what is the value of these stats as he is playing “only” in the second French division. We will take a more detailed look at him as well as analyze the season of his team mate Abdoulaye Loum.

In the last part of our review of the Nike International Junior Tournament 2013 in Belgrade, we will analyze the game of the tournament MVP Dusan Ristic and the rest of the big guys present in Serbia. The level on the Center positions was not great in general with the exception of the Crvena Zvezda players.

In the second part of our player report on the Nike International Junior Tournament, we take a look on two very interesting wing players in Marko Guduric and Damien Inglis. On the other hand, a list of several potential role player prospects completes this part of the evaluation series before talking about the big men in the final article on the tournament.
NIJT Belgrade 2013: the Guards
March 7th, 2013 · No Comments
We start the review of the main players of the Nike International Junior Tournament in Belgrade traditionally with the guards. The overall talent level on this position was a bit limited and the number of future top level back-court players present in this tournament was not very high. But here we go for those that we considered as the most interesting.
Vasilije Micic, the passing majesty
March 3rd, 2013 · No Comments
During the Nike International Junior Tournament, I had the opportunity to follow the Serbian League game between Mega Vizura and Metalac. In the team from the Belgrade suburbs, the 1994 born PG Vasilije Micic runs the show next to a couple of other interesting prospects.
